It’ll soon be time for the sixth April Motorhome Show. Being held at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet in Somerset, BA4 6QN from the 10th – 12th April. Featuring the latest Motorhomes from the leading manufacturers.

Visitors will be able to see a whole raft of new 2015 models as they wander through the exhibition, which has a new, all outdoor layout this year. In addition to the exhibition itself, many clubs choose the show as the venue for their first rally of the New Year. A good chance to catch up with old friends and discuss what’s new.  For those staying the long weekend we have two party nights with a live cabaret style entertainment on the Friday and Saturday evenings.

Day entry costs are £5 per adult in advance online from www.seetickets.com (£7.50 on the day). Day car parking is free and children accompanied by parents also come in free.

The show opens at 9-30am and closes at 5pm.

ENTERTAINMENT IS FREE FOR CAMPERS

OVERNIGHT CAMPING – CAMPING FROM THURSDAY NOON TO MONDAY NOON.

If you own a motorhome, caravan or tent you are welcome to join us for the long weekend and enjoy two nights of FREE live entertainment on Friday and Saturday (Numbers limited to venue capacity).

Camping Fee’s: If you arrive from Thursday – £45 or Friday – £40.

All units can stay until Monday but they must leave by mid-day.

Friday Entertainment

Friday night is a night with “The Beached Boys”. The UK’s number one Beach Boys tribute band, performing all the hits, plus a bonus set of hits from the 60’s & 70’s.


 

Saturday Entertainment

Saturday night is ladies night, featuring the fabulous “Miss Vintage”, a highly entertaining tribute to the classic jazz divas of yesteryear and today. Followed by the “Dusty Springfield and 60’s” show.

Songs from the iconic artist plus many other female vocalists that made the Sixties FAB!

 


How to book-in for The Motorhome Show

Those who wish to stay for the weekend can book on 020 8302 6150 or pay on the gate when they arrive and visit the show as often as they like and go to the free evening entertainment.

From Thursday onwards the cost is £45 and from Friday onwards it’s just £40.

The Motorhome Show – Stratford-Upon-Avon. Stratford Racecourse, Warwickshire CV37 9SE

Everyone is looking forward to their favourite summer show, being held for the 28th year at the Racecourse Stratford-Upon-Avon from 19th – 21st June 2015. The exhibition is again centred around the Grandstand area, making the most of the hard-standing on offer. There’ll be 2 nights of free entertainment for those staying on site. 

THREE DAY SHOW – Seven days of camping

Owners and first timers will be coming from all over the country to enjoy the three day show. Although the show doesn’t open until Friday, hundreds of enthusiasts will be arriving from Monday 15th June, making the most of all that there is to offer in the area. 

This year again you can have a flutter at the races on Tuesday afternoon. Why not hire a bike and explore the Stratford Greenway. You can start and finish your cycle from the cycle hire centre at the start of the track. You can rest, relax and get refreshments at the Carriages Cafe at the start or end of the ride at the centre, or in the middle at Milcote crossing.

Why not have some fun and try a tandem! Or if you prefer to stretch your legs, Stratford’s historic town centre is within walking distance via the charming riverside pathway that runs past the Racecourse.

From Friday there are shuttle buses running to and from the town centre, as well as mystery coach trips around the surrounding countryside. But as always, the stars of the show are the Motorhomes themselves! It’s the perfect place to view and buy the latest Motorhomes as well as pre-loved models all in the beautiful setting of Shakespeare country.

The show is open from 9:30am until 5pm. Accompanied children are admitted free of charge and day car parking is also free. Admission charge for day visitors is adults £5 per person in advance online at www.seetickets.com or £7.50 per person on the day.

Overnight pitches are available from Monday onwards at £70, Tuesday onwards £65, Wednesday onwards £50, Thursday onwards £45 and Friday onwards £40.
These fees cover your motorhome and 2 adults until Monday mid-day.
Hook ups are also available at £40 for the week, available from Monday.
We cannot pre-book hook-ups these are allocated on a ‘First come – First served’ basis.

• Your Pitch – Please remember where you are located – Make note of your location on the map provided. Water standpipes are located around the site.  Elsan disposal outlets are situated behind the main racecourse buildings, near the buildings in the centre of the course and around the track.

THE RACETRACK IS SACRED TURF SO NO PEOPLE OR DOGS PLEASE.

• Rubbish – The Racecourse have a new Recycling Policy. Glass bottles/glass containers to go into Glass Bottle Small Bins. Cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, cans and plastic glasses to go into clear bags and into the Blue labelled bins/skips. All non-recyclable waste to go into black bin bags and into black labelled bins/skips.

We have 24-hour coverage by the Warwickshire Ambulance Association from Monday onwards, situated beside the track (please see map), or there is the  local hospital in Arden Street, Stratford-Upon-Avon which is open from 9am – 5pm for minor injuries (01789 205831).

• Serious emergencies dial 999 or go to South Warwickshire Hospital, Lakin Road, Warwick (01926 495321).

If you have to call an emergency ambulance via 999, it is vital that you let us know (tel: 07796 481229 – 24 HOURS) where you are situated, using the grid reference map (issued on arrival to the show as part of the information sheet), so that we can direct the ambulance straight to you. Therefore saving vital time.

Mobility Scooters – You use your mobility scooter at your own risk. Please ensure you use your mobility scooter in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and that it is suitable for the terrain.

Before you know it, it will be that time of year again when we’ll all be heading to the Shepton Mallet Motorhome Show, held for the thirtieth year at the Bath & West showground, just south of Shepton Mallet in Somerset, on the A371. There’s no better place to view and compare so many different models than at everyone’s favourite show.

Over the long weekend of the 11th – 13th September everything “Motorhome and Campervan” will be for sale; from the latest new designs to pre-loved models.

In addition to the exhibition, visitors staying for the long weekend have a varied entertainment programme organised for them. With cabarets on Friday and Saturday evenings. There’s also a fun craft competition on the Sunday morning and a best pet show around lunchtime.

The show opens 9:30am – 5pm.

Admission charge for day visitors is adults £7.50 per person in advance online at www.seetickets.com or £10 per person on the day. Accompanied children under 16 are free and day car parking is also free.
